Welcome to EFI

When people think of forensics they often picture a forensic scientist examining hair, fibers, DNA, etc. under a microscope.

At EFI we believe the forensic examination of electronic media should be no different—the computer monitor is our microscope and we will work to find the truly unique attributes of information forensically recovered from the media

Whether you are a prosecuting or civil litigation attorney, school district official, small business or large corporation, or a concerned spouse or parent we can assist you by investigating electronic media for evidence relating to a wide variety of issues.

EFI specializes in forensic recovery and analysis of evidentiary data stored on computer hard drives, CDs / DVDs, flash media (digital camera memory cards & thumb drives), and/or cell phones.  Typically, our examinations include the recovery of graphics files, deleted files, hidden data, text messages, call records, email messages, chat sessions, and/or internet related files, such as visited websites, downloaded images/applications, and web searches.  We can also assist your efforts in areas relating to intrusion detection, general data recovery, password recovery, software piracy, copyright violations, and trademark infringement.

Whatever the scenario may be, when it comes to the recovery or exploitation of information retrieved from electronic storage devices, you can depend on us to professionally, and ethically, provide the services you require.
